LausGroup Event Centre marks 3rd year as CL’s top events venue

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — The world class LausGroup Event Centre on June 8, 2019 marked its third year as Central Luzon’s prime events landmark.

Dedicated to the people of Pampanga and Central Luzon, the LausGroup Event Centre is located at the heart of LGC Boulevard, LausGroup Complex along Jose Abad Santos Avenue in the City of San Fernando and features timeless luxury and state-of-the-art facilities with a seating capacity of up to 2,000 guests and multiple, wide spaces for a variety of functions.

Three years ago on its opening day, the late Levy P. Laus, Laus Group of Companies Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said the LausGroup Event Centre is a huge and inspiring testament to the sacrifices, pains, collective courage, determination, selfless efforts and contribution to save San Fernando and Pampanga from the devastation wrought by Mt. Pinatubo 25 years ago.

“It tells us that we have what it takes to face and overcome the kind of adversity that will test our resolve, character and unity. It will continually remind us that adversity can only make us better, stronger, wiser and more positive about our future. It also lifts us with a sense of pride and purpose, an understanding of our vulnerability and strength and a great reaffirmation of what we can do together to build and rebuild for the future generation,” he said.

“This is a manifestation of what we have done, what we have accomplished in 25 years. It was also a sort of confidence by the local people that this province can bounce back, and indeed it rebuilt itself. This event centre is one big symbol of the triumph of the Kapampangans. It is dedicated to the people of Pampanga and Central Luzon who deserve nothing less than our best to help build a brighter future for the next generation,” said Laus.

Since it opened its doors, hundreds of medium and big ticket events have been held at the LausGroup Event Centre, including concerts by Engelbert Humperdinck, Bootleg Beatles, BeeGees Gold, Lea Salonga, Philippine Madrigal Singers, Jose Mari Chan, Martin Nievera, Gary Valenciano, Lani Misalucha, Sarah Geronimo and many other notable performers in the country. (JTD)
