AUC prepares for a World Class Anniversary Special at LGEC in January 2017

The University of the Assumption Chorale (UAC) will mount its first ever concert on January 14, 2017 at 7:00PM for the benefit of the new University Chapel’s construction which will be the center of formation and worship for all Assumptionists: students, alumni and employees.

Formerly known as the UA President’s Choir (UAPC), UAC is composed of students from the different colleges and schools in the University of the Assumption (UA).
In 2002, the UAPC participated and won in the Busan Choir Olympics in South Korea which was participated by “around 8,000 singers from 48 nations”. From then, it continues to spread the UA mission through their music.

Today, under the leadership of conductor and trainor Mr. Joseph Erwin Limpin, UAC performed in various events in and off campus. They reached out to other singing groups by conducting training and encouraged school based singers to celebrate their gift and sing praise to God through the annual choral competition on the solemnity of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, the patroness of the first Archdiocesan Catholic University in Asia.

“UAC IN CONCERT” will feature the present and former members of the UAC and UAPC singing a wide repertoire of musica sacra, Filipiniana and inspirational music, and contemporary songs.

For tickets, please call or reserve through UA External Affairs and Media Office at 961 3617 loc. 138.
